Description: A Hittite, one of David’s mighty men and the husband of Bathsheba. David arranged for Uriah to be killed in battle so that he could marry Bathsheba. Also, the name of a priest during the reign of Ahaz, and a priest who stood with Ezra.

Description: A high priest, a descendant of Aaron. Also, the name of several other individuals, including a descendant of Issachar, a Benjamite, a Levite, and an overseer of Levites in Jerusalem after the exile.

Description: One of David’s mighty men.
22. Uzziah

First Appearance: 2 Kings 15:13
Description: The tenth king of Judah, also called Azariah. He reigned for 52 years and was generally considered a good king, but he was struck with leprosy for trying to burn incense in the temple. Also, the name of a Kohathite Levite, a priest and the father of Jehonathan.
23. Uzziel

Description: A son of Kohath, a Levite, and the founder of a Levitical clan. Also, a Simeonite, a Benjamite, a musician in the time of David, a Levite in the time of Hezekiah, and a man who helped repair the wall of Jerusalem.
